We survived our first Office Hours—and it only gets better from here

Hi there,
How’s your week been? Mine? Well, let’s just say it ended in the best kind of chaos—because yesterday, Beth and I hosted our very first Office Hours. And I’ll say it right up front:
It was everything I hoped for… and more.
We had a sharp group of authors—some just getting started, others deep in the trenches—and a few coaches with smart questions and strong coffee. The energy was real, the insights practical, and the conversations… exactly what I was hoping we’d create.
If you joined us, thank you. If you missed it, here’s a quick look at what went down, and why you might want to mark your calendar for the next one.
The Recap
We walked through the publishing process, not like a textbook lecture, but like a call from a friend who’s already been there. Editing? We tackled where most folks get stuck. Formatting? We got into what makes the difference between amateur and polished. We talked about cover design, book distribution, audiobooks, and even how to breathe life back into your old content by repurposing it into something new.
We also introduced our H2AI framework (Human to AI), which helps authors and coaches extend their message without burning out. At the heart of it are three pillars: a book to build credibility, a course to deliver your message, and a content system to expand your reach.
If you're curious about that, definitely come to the next session. Or just reach out, we’re happy to talk through it.
And here’s something you should know: yesterday’s Office Hours was officially the worst one we’ll ever have. Why? Because we’re only going up from here. Every session will build on the last. Every conversation will sharpen the next.
This isn’t a one-off. It’s a standing date. Beth and I will be live every Friday from 9:00–10:00 AM Eastern to answer questions, clear roadblocks, and share the kind of guidance you only get from people who’ve been in the game for a while.
No fluff, no pitch—just real talk, honest insight, and a chance to get unstuck.
If you're working on a book, building a course, or staring at a mountain of content wondering what to do next, Office Hours is for you. We keep these sessions small—just 15 spots—because we want to offer meaningful, personalized guidance and give everyone a chance to ask questions.
Last week, I capped it at 10, but I just couldn’t turn people away. So we’re opening it up to 15 this time—first come, first in. And just a heads-up: last week’s session filled up fast, shortly after I dropped the invite in the newsletter.
If you're looking for a clear path forward, this is the place. Beth and I believe that knowledge isn’t something to hoard—it’s something to share, to build on, and to pass forward. That’s what these sessions are all about.
Click here to register for the next session. You’ll get the Zoom link and a reminder so you don’t miss it.
Bring your questions. Leave with direction. Because with everything going on, this is no time to go it alone.
See you Friday,
Jan
P.S. Know someone working on a book or unsure how to turn their content into income? Forward this their way—we’d love to see them at the next session.
